Fountain Pens: Fine Writing Instruments

Franklin-Christoph

In 2001, the Franklin-Christoph foundation was presented with the IPO fountain pen. In 1901 in Marietta, Georgia, the Franklin family began manufacturing ceramics. For ninety-one years, the company grew and distributed fine and basic ceramic products from Europe. The Franklin-Christoph company has adopted the tradition and love of designing, manufacturing, and importing quality products from their ancestors. They have been producing products with the same dedication and passion for designer, elegant, and functional products. This is evident as every piece of manufactured product is guaranteed for life.
The Franklin-Christoph company lives on a philosophy. This philosophy is stated as “Fortitudo et Fides” in Latin, meaning, “Strength and Honor.” The strength they are referring to is the strength that they build their company on as they move along not for a financial gain, but for their clients benefits and the name of the brand. Strength also refers to the dedication given to each of their luxury pieces, and the quality and endurance each piece upholds. The company states that they stand behind every piece they make and defend it, for that is the honor they speak of. They have made “excellence” their standard and they believe that their attitude towards all business is to do what is right for all concerned, in other words, the honor the Franklin-Christoph brand represents. They believe that the strength and honor they symbolize is geared toward the generations before them.
Many of the Franklin-Christoph products are made with sterling silver. This is because silver is comparatively simple to work with, engrave, and shape, making the product able to look its best. The company also uses solid gold for the nib, to give the product a soft touch. Because of their permanence and special shine, it has been considered a valuable product for years.
The Franklin-Christoph company has a lifetime warranty for all merchandise sold. Regardless of how old the product is, if it has any sort of mechanical failure, the writing instrument can be shipped back to the manufacturer for repair of no charge. If the writing instrument cannot be repaired, it is the Franklin-Christoph company’s obligation to replace the product with an equal or greater valued writing instrument.
